We all wear our t-shirts JockStraps in my HS. Coolmax Champion is the best because of a lycra jockstrap. It will not accumulate much less visible under his jersey and lycra shorts.
A few guys in our high school team wore nothing on their shirts, not the wisest decision in my opinion. A couple of boys with his tighty whiti, but most boys wore suspenders. They gave the fighter a lot of support and the lines werent explanations as they are with the man wearing the letters. I like the brand of bike JockStraps better. They have a reputation for a long time, are cheap and everlasting.
I can not answer the first question, because I have not used an athlete since 1997 ...
The answer to your second question, no longer hunter is not. I tell my kids go to a package of 5 buy-Whitey-tight early in the season when it normally used in the "Loose" Boxer.
Safetgard is the most comfortable jockstrap. I fought and played football in high school and Safetgard is the best without a cup.
I saw a guy wearing a shirt under jockstrap earth fight at my university, but I think that rare.
Coolmax Champion is a great shirt.
